I’ve learned it’s important to be grateful. Take the time every day to say THANKS for the wonderful things in your life. It might help if you make a list every morning or every night. Perhaps you can ask your loved ones to make a list too and you can all share it together. How sweet would that be to hear what your kids are thankful for? Or what your husband appreciates in his life?
Thanking is caring and a way to point out all of your abundance. Hey, it can also simply make you smile. As much as you may wish you had more things in your life or dreams you want to fulfill – remember, you still have a lot! That feeling of appreciating what’s here right now shows that you’re not lacking anything. Just because you’re longing for somethings doesn’t mean your lacking in life.
So at this very moment, this is what I’m thankful for:
My strength, smile, ability to move, laugh and tell stories.
My friends, my fiancé, my family
My job – it’s awesome!
The beach, the sand, the waves, the air
My breath and ability to remain calm
My dreams and my ability to believe in them
ALL OF YOU!
Ok, your turn!!
